What is an XWMS account used for?

Your XWMS account is used for login, security, Studio access, API access, payments, invoices, external login accounts, privacy requests, and account recovery.

How do I log in to XWMS?

Go to the sign page and log in with your email address, password, or a connected external provider such as GitHub or Discord when that provider is enabled for your account.

Can I connect GitHub or Discord to my account?

Yes. External login accounts can be connected from your account area. For security, XWMS may ask you to verify your account before a provider is connected.

What happens if an external provider uses an email that is already linked to XWMS?

XWMS asks you to verify the existing account first. After successful verification, the provider can be connected to that account instead of creating a duplicate account.

Why do I need to unlock my account for some actions?

Account unlock protects sensitive changes such as password changes, external login connections, subscription actions, privacy requests, and security settings.

Which verification method does XWMS use?

XWMS automatically uses the strongest available verification method for the account. If 2FA is active, you enter the authenticator code. If 2FA is not active, XWMS sends an email verification code.
